Administration

Our administration volunteers provide valuable support to our staff in all sorts of departments around the hospital.

The role of an administration volunteer is wide ranging and varied, to give you an idea of some of the tasks involved, you could be assisting with:

  • data logging and cleansing;
  • filing;
  • collecting and delivering;
  • scanning and photocopying;
  • helping with audits;
  • preparing notes for clinics; and
  • making up patient packs.

Qualities you’ll need:

  • the ability to work as part of a team;
  • flexible and approachable;
  • the ability to use a computer for some roles but not all;
  • a good eye for detail; and
  • the desire to help staff and patients.
