We continue to aspire to provide the best support and care for our entire workforce at the Ipswich Hospital and to foster an environment that protects the physical and mental wellbeing of our staff.

We recently launched a new wellbeing support programme for staff (and immediate family) at the Ipswich Hospital with a national organisation, CiC. This new service allows access 24/7 for telephone counselling, providing support with; managing pressure; bullying / harassment; performance at work issues; marital, family or relationship difficulties; stress, anxiety and depression; alcohol and substance misuse; addictive behaviour; bereavement; and work / life balance issues. CiC is an external, independent organisation and as such, colleagues can be assured that the support and advice provide is confidential. CiC can arrange face-to-face counselling close to your work or home.

In addition, CiC can provide assistance with practical matters on debt management, legal / tax advice and child / elder / disability care issues.

The CiC Confidential Care helpline is a Freephone number – 0800 085 1376 or email assist@cic-eap.co.uk

You can find more information at www.well-online.co.uk with the username ‘IpswichNHS’ and the password ‘wellbeing'.
