Departmental facilities

The department has a well-furnished waiting area where you can sit and read a magazine, or enjoy a hot drink from our WRVS coffee bar.

We have installed two electronic screens to provide information relating to the radiotherapy department and some 'Scenes of Suffolk' to look at, as well as keeping you up to date with any delays we may be experiencing.

We have a number of information points in the department where you can find out more about your treatment, or the department itself.

Adjacent to the entrance to oncology is the John Le Vay Cancer Information Centre which has comfortable seating, coffee machine, and information for you to peruse. On hand is a qualified nurse who can discuss any questions you may have regarding your treatment. Alternatively you can contact the Macmillan information and support radiographers on 01473 704361.
