Remembering Precious Babies

This group was set up to support people who have stillbirth babies. It provides people with an arena to talk to others facing similar heartache. People can discuss their own loss or just listen to others. It is a place where support is given to them, but above all it is a place where they are not alone.

The group meets on the last Tuesday of every month, in the Parentcraft Room, Ipswich Hospital, Heath Road, from 7 pm until 9 pm. Click here for more details.

For further information please contact Davina Gant, Annie Oliver, Sharon Edwards or Cherrie Davey on 01473 703000.

The Ipswich branch of the Miscarriage Association now holds a monthly support group meeting for anyone who has suffered pregnancy loss – either recently or in the past. The meetings are informal and offer an opportunity to talk with other people who have been through the experience. The meetings take place at 7.30pm on the first Tuesday of every month, at The Women's Centre, 37 Berners Street, Ipswich IP1 3LN.

For further information, text  07905 001429.

For a one-to-one telephone conversation with someone who has been through miscarriage themselves and would like to help, please phone 01924 200799 in the first instance. This is the number of the Miscarriage Association, who will put you in touch with someone in your area.

The information section on our website at www.miscarriageassociation.org.uk offers a range of PDF leaflets about the facts and feelings of miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy and molar pregnancy.

The Your Miscarriage leaflet is available in seven other languages (Arabic, Bangla, Gujarati, Polish, Punjabi, Turkish and Urdu).

If you would prefer to have a printed leaflet or leaflets, you can contact us on our helpline 01924 200799.
