Patient Feedback
We collect feedback from patients and carers via a number of ways – surveys, comment cards, compliments, concerns and complaints.
Volunteers help us to collect feedback from inpatients and those attending for outpatient appointments. We use electronic surveys via portable handsets which are very easy to use. You ask the questions, the patient answers and you record their response onto a PDA. We then upload the data to our partner organisation that analyse the data and report back on a monthly basis.
The results are used at ward and business unit level to identify issues and areas for improvement.
Expenses are paid and training given.
