Welcome to Ipswich Hospital
Our Passion, Your Care
Get Involved
Ipswich Hospital takes pride in serving two communities - its own internal community of staff, patients and visitors and the wider community of Ipswich and Suffolk.

This hospital is committed to listening to and acting on the views and opinions of people who use our services, their carers and to our staff in order to provide a patient-centred service which responds to the needs of the community.

  • Promote patient involvement in their own care, as active partners with professionals;
  • enable patients to become informed about their treatment and care and to make informed decisions and choices about it, if they wish;
  • make sure that patients, the public and staff have the knowledge, skills and support they need so that they can influence planning, delivery and monitoring of health services;
  • actively involve patients and the public in planning, delivery and monitoring of our services;
  • acknowledge and act upon information we receive from patients and the public; and
  • feed back to patients and the public how their involvement has influenced the operation of Ipswich Hospital.
