Join a user group
Ipswich Hospital has a number of user groups.

The Ipswich Hospital User Groups

User groups are made up of patients, their carers and families, representatives from voluntary and community groups and members of Ipswich Hospital staff who meet to discuss the patient experience and exchange ideas to develop and improve services.

User groups meet for 1-2 hours once a month or once every other month. Most meetings are held at the hospital. User group members make a commitment to attend for a minimum of one year and have recently used or are using the hospital service linked to the group either as a patient or carer / family member of a patient. Alternatively, they may also be a representative of a voluntary or community organisation with expertise or an interest in the focus of the group.

Support for user group members
This hospital appreciates the assistance and involvement of volunteers and has prepared a welcome pack which includes full details of the support available.

If you would like to join a group, or have something you feel they should discuss, please write to:
Pam Talman, Patient Experience Coordinator, Nursing and Quality (C366), The Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust, Heath Road, Ipswich IP4 5PD, telephone 01473 702101 or click here to email Pam.
