I was at medical school in Leeds then taught anatomy to medical students there before travelling to Australia where I was involved in plastic surgery and hand trauma for a year. I then returned to complete my basic surgical training, gaining my FRCS. I did my plastic surgery training in the Anglia region and a fellowship in Taiwan to learn complex reconstructive techniques and microsurgery

Dr V Gudi

Mr Gudi completed his general medical training in Cornwall and specialist dermatology training in Glasgow and Aberdeen. He has been a consultant in dermatology in Suffolk for the last nine years. His specialist interests include skin cancer, inflammatory skin disease, paediatric dermatology and use of biologic therapy in skin disease. He is the current skin cancer lead and clinical lead in dermatology.

Mr Heaton attends Ipswich fortnightly on a Thursday and monthly on a Friday to perform a clinic and 'See and Treat' lists. He regularly consults with his dermatology colleagues at Ipswich. Any complex surgery is performed at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, but less complex surgery, dressings and follow-ups are arranged at Ipswich Hospital wherever possible.
