The forum was established to ensure that all incidents of racial harassment are properly and sensitively investigated and that victims are aware of the support that is available to them. It looks at the work of public authorities and also listens to the needs of local people and community groups.
The membership comprises of a range of community groups, voluntary agencies and statutory agencies, such as Suffolk County Council, Ipswich Borough Council and Homes, the Crown Prosecution Service, Suffolk Constabulary, Suffolk Probation, district councils and housing associations.
Counselling Service for Victims of Racial Harassment
