Equality and Diversity

Ipswich Hospital has many initiatives and groups in place to support and drive forward the work in the important area of equality and diversity.

The diversity lead for matters relating to staff is Jennifer Canham, Deputy Director of Human Resources and the diversity lead for patient issues is Sarah Higson, Patient Experience Manager. 

Ipswich Hospital considers that all aspects of diversity are equally important. We strive to make continuous improvements, specifically with regards to the nine characteristics protected under the Equality Act 2010, namely age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion and belief, sex and sexual orientation.
