From entrance 2 follow the signs to Claydon Ward. View hospital map.
Overview: Claydon Ward specialises in cardiac (heart) patients.
Visiting times: Visiting times are 2.30pm –7pm daily.
Please assist ward staff by only visiting at the above times, unless you have made other arrangements with the ward sister or charge nurse. Lunch is a protected mealtime so please do not visit between 12 noon and 1pm.
No of visitors per bed: We request that there are only two visitors at a time and children under 12 should not visit. We ask that visitors are considerate to the needs of other patients on the ward.
Meal times: Breakast    8.30am
Lunch        12.30pm
Dinner       5pm

Drinks will be served during and in between meal times.
Anyone wishing to assist their family member with meals should discuss this with the nursing staff. 

Additional information: Key contact:
Good communication is very important to everyone: the patient, the family carer, relatives, friends and the nursing team. We would therefore be grateful if one person such as the family carer or a relative or friend becomes the 'key contact' to enquire about the patient's progress during their stay on the ward, and then passes this information on to others who may be concerned.
