Entrance 6 (Outpatients).
Turn left out of the Outpatients entrance and follow the corridor. Take the second left and Clinic F is on the right before you get to ENT.

Overview: The Oral and Maxillofacial and Orthodontic Clinic deals with:
  • the diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders
  • surgical correction of facial asymmetry including maxillomandibular advancement surgery
  • the diagnosis and treatment of chronic facial pain disorders
  • the diagnosis and treatment of benign pathology (cysts, tumours etc)
  • dentoalveolar surgery (surgery to remove impacted teeth), difficult tooth extractions, extractions on patients who are diabetic, on warfarin or otherwise not medically suitable to be seen by their own dentist
  • craniofacial prosthetics and soft and hard tissue trauma (jaw fractures, cheekbone fractures and lacerations and eye socket fractures)
Clinic times: Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm.
When and where to get results:
Blood results are from the Pathology Department.
Photographs are taken by the Clinical Photography Department.
Follow-up biopsy results are given at the post-operative clinic appointment (Thursday afternoons)
What to expect at your appointment:
A medical history is taken including any medication you may currently be on, so please bring a list from your GP, dentist or pharmacy. A diagnosis will be made and a follow-up treatment plan started. Any required tests are carried out.
