Remembering Precious Babies

This group was set up to support people who have stillbirth babies. It provides people with an arena to talk to others facing similar heartache. People can discuss their own loss or just listen to others. It is a place where support is given to them, but above all it is a place where they are not alone.

The group meets on the last Tuesday of every month, in the Parentcraft Room, Ipswich Hospital, Heath Road,
7 pm until 9 pm.

For further information please contact Maternity Administration 01473 703000.

The Ipswich and East Suffolk branch of the Miscarriage Association is now offering local telephone and group support.

The branch’s volunteers aren’t medical experts or professional counselors. They are women who have been through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy and molar pregnancy themselves. They listen with understanding and offer peer support.

For details of our local phone and group support, text “Details” to 07905 001429 (texts only) or call the national helpline 01924 200799. Your local volunteer is Meryem Suhail.

If you’ve had a miscarriage, or are worried that it might happen, it can be really important to have good, clear and accurate information.  It can also help family, friends and colleagues.

The Miscarriage Association has the knowledge to help. The information section on our website  at www.miscarriageassociation.org.uk offers a range of pdf leaflets about the facts and feelings of miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy and molar pregnancy.

The Your Miscarriage leaflet is available in seven other languages (Arabic, Bangla, Gujarati, Polish, Punjabi, Turkish and Urdu).

If you would prefer to have a printed leaflet or leaflets, you can contact us on our helpline 01924 200799.
