If we find that you have risk factors at booking or develop them at any time during the pregnancy or labour, we will refer you to an obstetric consultant for specialist advice and, if necessary treatment.
The community midwife and specialist hospital antenatal clinic share your care in the antenatal period with addtional surveillance available in the antenatal day unit on the wards.
