Do I have to pay for equipment?
Your occupational therapist will discuss with you what equipment you may require. Small aids such as cutlery, helping hands and long handled shoe horns are not provided by the hospital and you will be advised where these may be purchased. Other equipment such as raised toilets seats, perch stools and commodes will be issued free of charge (on loan) from the local community equipment service if required.
