Would glucosamine with or without chondroitin help my joints?

There is some evidence that glucosamine can be helpful in the early stages of degenerative arthritis(osteoarthritis), particularly when given concurrently with chondroitin. There is less evidence that either is useful in inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis.
